Doppler Radar Sensors

Sensors are designed to sense absolute value of group composite velocity in covered area, suitable for large-scale crowd activity monitoring. Participant movement towards, or away, from sensor results in measured doppler shift. Sensor outputs can be summed to detect average of absolute value of movement. Sensor is sensitive to both body velocity magnitude and relative size of body in motion. Groups of people, moving in concert, have greatest sensory impact.
